Millennial Wardrobe

As the war between the Millennials and Gen Z rages on, we are constantly being reminded of how old we are, how dated our clothes is, and how us talking about the 90s fondly is like when our parents would reminisce about the 70s.

When it’s Halloween and I can see 90s fancy dress, with things I still have tucked away at my mums house, I die a little more inside. Forced to come to terms that I’m no longer young, getting old and not as cool as I used to be.

My outfit choices have taken a hit, when I open my wardrobe, I’m overloaded with conflicting styles. I have a mix of clothes I want to wear, and those I feel like I should be wearing. I’m torn as to whether I should be adopting the new wide leg pants instead of my go to Skinny Jeans, is it time to put away the Reebok classics and adopt the New Balance trainers everyone is wearing now. Being indecisive has made getting ready morning a draining task, so now I’ve decided to try and do a clear out, get organised and work out what I want to keep and what I need to rehome.

Do you ever find yourself torn between 2 styles and 2 generations?
